Adoption of adult cat

Updated: Oct 1, 2023

Please don’t be scared of the “what-ifs” that come along with adopting an adult animal. What if they have bad habits? What if they take longer to adjust? What if it’s a bit more difficult to acclimate them to your current furry friends? Those are all valid concerns, but they shouldn’t be an end-all for your adoption journey. Most of the time it just takes your love and a bit patience for an animal to become adjusted, or to be more friendly, or just get used to their new life.

Adult cat adoption is a rewarding experience and has its benefits.

It's guaranteed the cat will love you, as long as you don't harm it. When you go sleep, they lie next to you and purr to lullaby you to sleep, or run up to you when you come home from work, to show how much they love you. So, please don't be worried, and give this amazing cat-human relationship. You will not regret ever!

Adult cats are the easiest pet to have. They're very self-sufficient, way easier than a dog, as they can tend to themselves while you away or at work, as long as they have food, water, litter potty and a warm place to stay at.

Adult cats tend to be calmer, better trained, and less hyperactive than kittens. You still need to cat-proof your home, but most grown cats have already learned what’s safe and what isn’t.

You will have a sense of their personality. Your adult cat has already gone through the challenges of growing up and you can get a good indication of their personality pretty quickly.

They are healthier. Adult cats have stronger immune systems than kittens. Kittens are still building vital protections against diseases, and their nutritional needs are more demanding. Grown cats digestive systems are stronger. This means you can spend more time cuddling and less time worrying.

We rehome our adult cats at their young age, i.e. 3-5 years old. You’ll have plenty of years filled with a pet’s love—what could be better than that!

Please send us message to know if any adult cats available for adoption in loving "forever homes" .
